Tri-color Stromanthe
Care Instructions
- Light: High amount of natural light - they will lose some colour if you keep them in lower-light areas.
- Water: Water only when the soil is dry - test before you water!
- Temperature: Keep them as warm and humid as possible. Cold windows or winds in winter will make their ends brown!
- Soil: A rich, well-drained potting mix is best, and keep it moist by spraying occasionally.

Humidity is the main concern with your Alocasia. If you notice the ends of the leaves starting to brown, you can try to increase the humidity by placing the plastic pot onto a pebble tray with a small amount of water underneath (the water evaporating will increase humitiy around the plant). Also try misting around the plant, pop it into a greenhouse if you have one, or try taking it into the bathroom when you have a hot shower (wink).
Size Details
The plant is potted in 12-14cm plastic nursery pot. Each pot has one plant; leaves measure about 5-8cm in length.
Some natural variation in size and appearance may occur.
