While they look very similar to Monstera and have very similar habits and care requirements, they aren't actually part of the Monstera family at all!
Mini Monstera - Rhaphidophora Tetrasperma
- Light: Indirect natural light is perfect - no direct sunlight.
- Water: Use a spray bottle a few times a week to keep the soil moist, then a nice drink once a week.
- Temperature: The warmer and more humid the better.
- Soil: A rich, well-drained potting mix is best. Lift your plastic pot from the outer pot once a week to keep an eye on the bottom tray - make sure it's not sitting in water!
- Growing habits: Similar to Monsteras, these guys will want to reach and climb to grow. Give them a totum pole and watch them go!
