Very easy to care for, Aglaonema makes a perfect home or office plant because it can tolerate both low light and fluorescent lighting.
Aglaonema
- Light: Aglaonema can tolerate low light, but the coloured varieties will need medium to bright light to keep up vibrant colours.
- Water: If your plant is in a low light area, water less often; ones in brighter spots will require more frequent watering. Test the soil and only water when the first 3cm is dry!
- Temperature: They will thrive in temperatures above 15C, and keep them away from cold drafts and air conditioning.
- Soil: A rich, well-drained potting mix is best. Lift your plastic pot from the outer pot once a week to keep an eye on the bottom tray - make sure it's not sitting in water!
